Embedded Processors

Ronin Technologies has experience developing firmware for several processors. These include:

PowerPC 855, 860 and 5200

Motorola Coldfire 5272, 5307 and 5407.

We can develop Board Support Packages (BSP's), drivers and applications on any of these targets. This experience means we can help you to quickly migrate to new processors with minimal effort.

Real Time Operating Systems

We have developed firmware using off the shelf Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) including uClinux , Precise/MQX, GreenHills AdaMulti Runtime, Rational Apex Ada Runtime, as well as proprietary, in-house developed RTOS' and runtimes.

Most recent experience highlighted the fact the the freely available Linux based OS's are now ready for prime time and can cause significant savings in time and money to be recognized on projects where it is selected.

Languages

Our expertise covers many of the popular languages used in the embedded and workstation environments. These include assembly language for all of the processors listed above, C, C++, Ada/Ada95, PHP, javascript and VB.
